Ist nicht ganz so schlimm wie erwartet, aber Kleinigkeiten sind nicht enthalten ... Also Zutaten, die Hellmut und ich gekauft hatten.

Den Verlust haben Hellmut und ich uns geteilt.

Trotz Verlust ... Darin sind die neuen Mitglieder nicht enthalten ... Sehen wir die Abende als Erfolg.

Wir hatten viel Interesse generiert, neue Mitglieder geworben und viele Informationen erhalten.

Hellmut und ich denken nach, den Event zu wiederholen.

The European Development Days (EDD) 2022

The Young Leaders Programme at European Development Days (EDD) 2022 will take place in Brussels from 21 to 22 June 2022. The organising team will select young adults between 21 to 26 years old from across the world who have demonstrated their expertise and leadership on one of the EDD 2022 platform ,which I am already selected to attend this year as a student and a young leader.

The European Development Days (EDD) Are Europe’s leading forum on international partnerships. Organised by the European commission, the forum brings key actors together to share ideas and experience in ways that inspire new partnerships and innovative solution to the world’s most pressing challenges. For its 15th edition, the EDD will focus on “Global Gateway: building sustainable partnership for a connected world.” Global Gateway is the new European strategy to boost smart, clean and secure links in digital, energy and climate, transport, health, education and research systems across the world. It stands sustainable and trusted connections that work for people and the planet, to tackle the most pressing global challenges, from climate change and protecting the environment, to improve health security and boosting competitiveness and global supply chains

The EDD offer a unique opportunity for young people from all over the world with strong expertise and commitment to positive social change to share their views, influence decision-makers and stakeholders and further develop leadership skills. In accordance with the regulation in place in June 2022, EDD will invite those selected as EDD Young Leaders to participate in the high-level panels in Brussels. In accordance with the regulation in place in June 2022, EDD22 will invite exceptional Young Leaders from all over the world with strong expertise and commitment to positive social change to participate in the session onsite in Brussels. Engaging with the development community, they will be the voice of their generation.     

This year’s EDD will focus on “Global Gateway: building sustainable partnerships for a connected world‘’ the discussions will be organised in five main themes and their related topics 

1. Digital

• Inclusive and green digital growth. Open and secure internet
• Digital and data economies.

2. Climate and Energy

• Green and just energy transition
• Integrating energy market

3. Transport @ Infrastructure connectivity

• Green and safe mobility
• Urban development, smart and inter-connected cities.
• Health Security of supply chains and development of local manufacturing.
• Education and Research @ Quality education
                                                   

My Aims and Objectives

1. To build sustainable partnerships as the main focus of the conference is to open a gate way for people and the planet to tackle the most pressuring global challenges .
2. To lobby for fundings and support in other to help the growing sub projects groups in The Gambia .
3. To learn new technics and exploring them into practice to revitalize the growing projects in The Gambia sponsored by Helping Hands and collaborative work among all group members and coordinators .
4. I will like to have a meeting after the conference with the core sponsors and partners in GERMANY to seek their advice and suggest ways Of improving the developing projects in the Gambia
   Finally , believe the group members and HELPING HANDS will help me and the organization achieve its goals .

Liebe Freunde,

wir suchen dringend, einen oder mehrere, Sponsoren für unser Plastik Recycling Projekt in Gambia.

Derzeitiger Stand der Dinge:

•Wir haben das Schelter in Busumbala eröffnet und in Betrieb. Es leben bereits 9 Kinder im Haus.

•Es besteht sehr intensive Zusammenarbeit mit der Gemeinde und der lokalen Klinik.

•Wir haben eine gute Zusammenarbeit mit einem Techniker aus Gambia. Er war bis vor 2 Wochen in England und hat sich intensiv auf das Projekt eingearbeitet.

•Mit der derzeitigen Situation, Klimawandel, Energiekosten etc. ist es ein Unding Plastik zurück nach Europa oder Deutschland zu transportieren.

•Folglich möchten wir lokal, also in Gambia, einen Kleinbetrieb fördern um das Plastik Vorort zu recyceln und zu verarbeiten.

Uns fehlen dazu die Mittel.

Bitte helft mir bei der Sponsoren suche. Betriebe aus der Kunststoff oder Lebensmittelbranche ... Betriebe die Kunststoff verarbeiten.

Natürlich helfen auch Spenden, Spendendosen, und neue Mitglieder ...

Um das Projekt starten zu können benötigen wir ca. 20 000€.

Aber, das kann sich ja auch aus vielen Kleinbeträgen zusammen setzen ... 2000 Mal 10€ und das Projekt läuft ...
